This option is used to read FBX files to create a Trimesh of the 3d object contained in the file.
FBX (Filmbox) is a proprietary format developed by Kaydara and owned by AutoDesk since 2006, to provide interoperability between digital content creation applications.
Whilst 12d Model is able to read FBX data into a project. There is no exporting capability. It is expected users will use the 12daz file or IFC file format for exporting.
Note: The data once inside 12d should still be checked for size, position and rotation.
To view this option, Use: “File => Data input => FBX” or “BIM => Import => FBX”
