Common data output methods in Leica Captivate

There are multiple methods of exporting data from Leica Captivate. Listed below are the most common methods. Click on a method to view the workflow.

• Comma-separated value (.csv) files
• Stylesheet generated .fld files
• Raw DBX files

• Importing via XYZ General – used for .csv files
• Reducing Stylesheet generated field files – used for .fld files
• Converting DBX files within 12d Model – used for DBX files.
• Converting .csv files within 12d Model – used for .csv files to be compatible with the Survey Date Reduction (SDR) Function.
