This option was the original X-Section filter option added to 12d Model.
It is rarely used any more as both the “Apply MTF” option and the Cross Section PPF panel provides users with the opportunity to filter Cross Section Strings prior to plotting.
If you are intending to plot the X-Sections? We would recommend using the XPLOT PPF option, as this cuts down the number of models in your project.
Still, if you don’t have an MTF or if you’re setting up X-Sections to plot via Google Earth etc, this Function might be exactly what you’re looking for.
Being a Function always consider adding it to a Chain for possible future processing.
