This option has been developed to try and “Heal” a selected Trimesh if it has been found to contain errors.
Given that the trimesh could have originated from any number of software packages, this “Heal” tool attempts to flip wrong faces, remove unwanted edges etc of the trimesh.
These incorrectly formed trimeshes might have been identified via the Checking tool. This can be run on a dataset to identify issues which 12d can then try to Heal.
