The “Create/Grade pad” and “Edit/Grade pad” options are often used together to produce a desired polygon surface for earthworks on estate lots or subdivision civil projects.
Seperate videos have been created below covering the two options and whilst the examples shown are on typical rectangle (polygons) lots. The grading (Edit/Grade) functionality can also be applied to individual super strings and so present a far greater benifit of design purposes than highlighted here.
This option allows you to generate a single or multiple pads (superstring polygon) based on a model of surrounding lines. The resulting pad can be customized with predefined offsets applied consistently across the project or adjusted individually to achieve the desired shape tailored to your specific requirements.
This option enables you to grade or modify a pad after it has been created using the previous tool.
