12d Model provides you with several options for the creation of a 3d building pad.
This option takes a pad formed by a string (super string) and given the slope requirements batters to a provided tin. The pad strings can then be moved up or down until an earthworks balance is found.
The pad can also be moved in plan and the new interface and volumes are dynamically calculated and a tin saved into the project.
The video below gives an explain between the different methods to quickly calculate and position and height (RL.) to achieve the earthworks volumes you are after.
